Newcastle reject Tottenham offer for Sandro Tonali
Newcastle have rejected Tottenham's £75m offer for Sandro Tonali but negotiations continue.
London club Tottenham Hotspur made an offer to buy Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali three days ago. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the "Magpies" have rejected the first request for 75 million pounds (86 million euros). Despite the rejection, the offer was part of the Londoners' plan and both parties have been in talks ever since. Tottenham are determined to complete the deal as Spurs coach Roberto De Zerbi is keen to sign the Italian playmaker. Tonali has been playing for Newcastle since the summer of 2023. His contract with the club runs until 2028. In the 2025/2026 season, the midfielder played 53 games, scored three goals and prepared six more. Newcastle finished 12th in the Premier League last season.
