Emiliano Viviano, former Fiorentina goalkeeper, has commented on Mastantuono's transfer and compared him to Berardi.
Viviano commented on the colpo Mastantuono: “È uno alla Berardi”. I also applaud Joao Mario.

In an interview with _Radio FirenzeViola_, former Fiorentina goalkeeper **Emiliano Viviano** spoke about various topics relating to the club. Among other things, he spoke about the personality of Antognoni, who, as is well known, was not at the celebration of Fiorentina's 100th anniversary. "Of course I hope that Antognoni will change his decision, because there is no festival of Fiorentina without lui. Giancarlo has le sue ragioni e le rispetto. I believe that what Joseph Commisso did in relation to Antognoni, the history of Fiorentina, is what one normally does, only that for us it came kind of late, no, you can't say that you respect history if you don't, If you don't know it or if it's not important to you, then for me Antognoni is the storia della Fiorentina." **As a young fan, would he have gone to the airport to greet Mastantuono?** "I would be going to the airport at the moment. The player was at the stadium. I had a player come to Real Madrid to capture the ambitions of the company. I also passed through Joao Mario's acquisition, so he was always there."

**How to classify the properties of Mastantuono?** "The characteristics are not so different from Berardi. Non ama l'allungo, io credo che se Mastantuono viene a fare l'esterno ne serva uno a sinistra con le characteristics di chi cerca più la profondità". **With the players in mind, what must the outside be like now when you think of Kean?** "Kean adesso sta anche giocando molto spalle alla porta, mentre con gli esterni sta un po' faticando a scambiare. E quindi è meglio che lui faccia movement per se stesso, cerca la profondità, si allontani a po' dai difensori e sia libero di farlo. Bisogna adattare le Characteristics of the stars from the source of Kean, even though the star is still there and the service is still open, so it is not in Serie A". **Does he expect important players to leave given the expensive additions now?** "Se fosse so, sarebbero statusi fatti prima le cessioni, come fanno tanti club, per far quadrare un po' il bilancio. Io penso che la Fiorentina punti più a vendere bene, qualcuno partirà di sicuro."

What happens next

Fiorentina is expected to remain active in the summer transfer window to optimize their squad planning. The signing of Joao Mario could prove strategically important to improve the balance in midfield. Fans and analysts will be eagerly watching to see how the integration of Mastantuono and other new additions will impact the team's performance in the coming season.
