PSV secures the title for best pitch for the first time in twelve years

In the Eredivisie, the team captains make the annual judgment about the grass pitches in Dutch professional football. After eleven consecutive years in which Feyenoord won the title for best pitch, it is now PSV Eindhoven that takes the award in the 2025/26 season. Feyenoord ends up in second place this time, while Ajax completes the top three.

It is noteworthy that FC Volendam and Excelsior, who played on artificial turf two seasons ago, are also in the top third of the table. In contrast, Telstar comes in last place as the captains award it the title for having the worst pitch in the Eredivisie.
