Rafael Leão expresses interest in Premier League transfer

Rafael Leão recently named his two favorite Premier League clubs. The Portuguese, who has been linked with a move from AC Milan in recent weeks, finds both Manchester United and Arsenal attractive. AC Milan missed out on qualifying for the Champions League on the final day, meaning Leão will not have the opportunity to play on Europe's highest stage next season if he stays in Milan. There has also been recent unrest surrounding his role under now-sacked coach Massimiliano Allegri, so his future at AC Milan remains a topic of discussion. In recent weeks, Leão has been linked several times with an adventure in Saudi Arabia and Turkey, but also with the Premier League. In the Cernucci podcast he was asked whether England was a nice destination for him. “Yes, of course,” was his clear answer. Leão also told us which Premier League clubs he likes best. “Manchester United and Arsenal,” said the cheerful Portuguese. "Manchester United because my idol Cristiano Ronaldo played there. I watched it a lot. And I think Arsenal is nice too." Both Manchester United and Arsenal will be active in the Champions League next season. Leão still has a contract with AC Milan until mid-2028.
