Despite the big celebration for the return to the Champions League, there is no time to waste in Trigoria. Roma, under the leadership of Gian Piero Gasperini, has already begun to plan in detail next season, which will see them return to the prestigious stage of European football. While the Lega Serie A has yet to officially announce the schedule, the club has already decided on the program for summer training. The start of training is scheduled for July 13th at the Centro Sportivo “Fulvio Bernardini”, where the team will begin intensive training sessions and athletic training. After around two weeks of intensive training, Roma will pack her bags again and travel to the United Kingdom. Unlike the last two summers, the destination will not be England, but Wales. In late July and early August the team will complete the second phase of preparation at the Wales national rugby team training centre, one of the most modern and advanced facilities in the world. Several friendly matches are planned during the stay in Great Britain and throughout the rest of the summer, which are crucial in order to gain match practice for the start of the season. The opponents Gasperini's team will face will be announced in the coming weeks. The goal is clear: to start the new season as best as possible on August 23rd and to start off with a positive footing
